Tree surgery is a highly skilled profession which should only be carried out by people who have gained the necessary qualifications. There are industry guidelines which north Cheshire forestry services strictly adheres to so as to ensure the safety and well-being of both employees and members of the public. These are the following

• Employees have the necessary NPTC certification. (NPTC is the industry body which assesses competence in chainsaw and safe climbing practices)
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times
• A first aid kit is always carried on site
• Risk assessments are carried out for all jobs
• Signs/cones used when working on public highways/footpaths
• We carry full public and employers liability insurance (£5,000,000 Arbinsure Lloyds cover)
• All work carried out to BS3998
